So something's worked really well in this book for me, and other things, not so much. I liked the sassy, snarky and quick wittedness of Laney. She was a young, relatable character to me. Lachlan was sexy and determined, willing to move mountains for his lost love. I felt like some of the story was lacking though. We had such a build to have the ending rushed in my opinion, drama that I felt was unnecessary at times and forced. That being said, it was a fast, lite read. Nothing to heavy or angsty and its sprinkled with enough humor and sexiness to keep you happy.
